PEFLEX
VENTILATION DUCTS
The basic element of the PEFLEX ventilation system are PEFLEX ventilation ducts made of first-grade PE-HD plastic. PEFLEX double-layer ventilation duct is designed to distribute fresh and exhaust air in the house and is used to connect plenum boxes to distribution boxes.
For additional protection, the smooth inner layer contains antibacterial, antifungal, and antistatic additives. PEFLEX ducts are available in two variants: Standard and Spectra 1000.
Available in three diameters: Ø50, Ø75 or Ø90 mm

- Nearly 100% level of antibacterial and antifungal protection
- innovative Spectra 1000 additive inhibiting the growth of microorganisms
- The double-layer construction of the ducts provides high compressive strength
- made of odourless and halogen-free raw materials
- available in 3 diameters Ø50, Ø75 or Ø90 mm
- high flexibility of the ducts allows for easy shaping, bending and routing of ducts
- antistatic properties of the ducts limit the settling and accumulation of dust in th ducts
- resistant to installation in the insulation layer of the ceiling and within the ceiling itself, even when encased in concrete
- the lack of shape memory allows for aesthetically pleasing routing of straight sections with fewer fixings
Antibacterial and antifungal properties
More than 99% microbiological protection!
Mechanical ventilation is responsible for continuously bringing fresh outdoor air into the house and removing stale air, thereby providing safe and healthy living conditions for all occupants.
But how to make the ventilation system provide the highest standards of operation for many years of use?
The solution is to use PEFLEX ventilation ducts with the innovative Spectra 1000 coating, which has been confirmed in laboratory tests to have antibacterial and antifungal properties. These properties ensure the prevention of microbial growth in ventilation installations for many years.

Antibacterial inner coating
30 year warranty
The phosphorescent UV-light internal wall of PEFLEX ducts is made entirely of antibacterial and antifungal material, which protects it from the development of microorganisms on its surface.
The addition of silver, copper, and other active microbiological compounds ensures practically indefinite operation of the Spectra 1000 coating, which comes with a 30-year effectiveness guarantee.. Spectra 1000 is considered the best germicidal air duct additive on the market!
PEFLEX Spectra 1000
versus Standard
PEFLEX ventilation ducts are available in two variants, differing only in the properties of the internal coating:
– green Standard ducts feature bacteriostatic and fungistatic additives providing basic microbiological protection
– gray Spectra 1000 ducts with a coating providing very high bactericidal properties and, as the only one on the market, tested fungicidal properties reaching 100%
Antistatic additives
in the smooth inner coating
Our extensive experience in the industry has allowed us to create a duct that strikes the perfect balance between the smoothness of the inner layer, preserving low air flow resistance and preventing the accumulation of dirt, and almost imperceptible ridges that dampen air noise and provide high flexibility of the ventilation ducts.
To maintain the highest hygiene standards throughout the entire ventilation system in the house, the inner layer contains antistatic additives, which reduce the settling and accumulation of dust in the ducts.
High durability
Over 800N of compressive resistance!
PEFLEX ventilation ducts have even over twice the circumferential strength compared to other ducts available on the market!
The high durability ensures safe installation of the system, without concerns about potential damage during the finishing of the building and over many years of operation. It also allows for the installation of ducts in building floors and ceilings, as well as direct concrete pouring.
High flexibility
and no shape memory
Anyone who has installed a recuperation system at least once understands the importance of duct flexibility for the ease of their installation. The appropriate composition of plastics, the proportions of wall thicknesses, and the proper width of ridges allow for making sharp bends in PEFLEX ducts when necessary.
Another important feature of PEFLEX ducts is the lack of shape memory, which facilitates the routing of long and straight sections immediately after unrolling the duct from the coil.
Highest quality raw materials
Guaranteed top-class ducts
PEFLEX ventilation ducts are made from the finest, precisely selected first-grade synthetic material that meets the strictest quality criteria. As a result, each product not only boasts exceptional durability but also ensures that every production batch maintains the highest quality standards.
Additionally, for the complete safety of your family, the gray PEFLEX Spectra duct has been made from 100% halogen-free materials!

PEFLEX ventilation ducts are hygienically certified by the National Institute of Public Health, which confirms the safety of their use in domestic ventilation systems.
Easy cutting "to measure"
with the dedicated PEFLEX duct cutter
PEFLEX is not just a ventilation system, but also tools that make the installer’s work easier.
With the help of the PEFLEX cutter, specially designed for corrugated ducts with diameters of 50, 75 and 90 mm, cutting flexible ducts is easier, faster and, most importantly, more accurate.
Fast and easy installation
with the special PEFLEX ducting clamps
Thanks to the dedicated PEFLEX ducting clamp, installation is even easier and faster.
The special design of the ducting clamp makes it possible for even one person to mount ducts from the ceiling , and the lockable clip ensures that the duct will not slip out on its own.
The possibility of connecting clamps together also allows for the installation of multiple ducts side by side using fewer dowels or screws.
Three types of diameters depending on the method of installation
depending on the installation method
Ø50 duct
Typically used in the insulation layer of the ceiling, when the ventilation system was not planned in advance and the standard thickness of the polystyrene layer in the floor was not increased.
Ø75 duct
Increase the thickness of the polystyrene in the floor to a minimum of 8, preferably 10 cm!
The most popular diameter of ventilation ducts used in Poland. It is suitable both for installation in the insulation layer of the ceiling and for installation in suspended ceilings.
Ø90 duct
A larger diameter duct allows for the transportation of a greater volume of air over a greater distance. Most commonly used in large and expansive ventilation installations.

The selection of the number of ducts depends on the amount of transmitted air
The amount of air transferred, and thus its velocity, is crucial in terms of the air resistance generated by the installation, as well as potential noise. Therefore, when designing a ventilation system, it id necessary to properly anticipate the number of threads of individual ventilation ducts, so that at maximum air flows the velocity in the ducts does not exceed 3 m/s.

Installation of PEFLEX ventilation ducts in the ceiling insulation layer
- Boxes and ventilation ducts are mounted directly on the ceiling.
- The installation is hidden in the insulation layer of the ceiling, for example, in polystyrene, which should have a minimum thickness equal to the diameter of the duct.
- A good solution is to lay a thicker layer of ceiling insulation and cover the entire ventilation system
- Underfloor heating can be installed directly above PEFLEX ducts - both installations do not interfere with each other.
- When installing a plenum box, it is necessary to make an opening in the ceiling.
- From below, only the air diffuser is visible, and the entire installation is covered with concrete screed and floor
