PEFLEX
PP Plenum Boxes
Plenum boxes are used to connect supply and exhaust air diffusers to ventilation ducts, and their design reduces the speed and stabilizes the flow of air.
PEFLEX PP boxes are made of durable plastic (polypropylene) with flexibility-enhancing additives. Their thick walls and the use of welding technology ensure high durability and tightness for many years.
PEFLEX plenum boxes have been refined to minimize noise generation and reduce airflow resistance. They are available in various variants, allowing for ceiling and floor installations.

Quick installation with a CLICK
CLICK means tight connection
The use of couplers with the CLIK system allows for a very fast installation of ventilation ducts in boxes with a single movement! And this without the need to manually put gaskets on the ducts and use specialized tools. Additionally, the CLICK system prevents the duct from unintentionally disconnecting itself.
Constant spigot diameter
Innovative production technology
The new long-socket version of the plenum box features a 300 mm spigot designed for direct installation of a 125 mm diameter air diffuser.
Our advanced manufacturing technology ensures that this is the only product on the market to maintain a constant internal diameter (125 mm) and external diameter (129 mm) across the entire length of the spigot. This constant diameter guarantees a stable and airtight installation of the diffuser frame, regardless of where the spigot is trimmed.
The spigot also features clearly readable scale markers, enabling precise cutting to the required length during installation.

High tightness
Tight connection between the box and the duct
The built-in gaskets with the CLICK system in the couplings ensure a high seal of the connection between the duct and the box for many years, without the need for additional sealing with tapes or silicone.
High durability
The boxes are resistant to on-site conditions
PEFLEX PP plenum boxes are made of flexible plastic with elastomer, which provides exceptional strength and high impact resistance, protecting them from damage during and after installation, even when the system is not yet fully encased. The thermally welded construction adds extra rigidity, ensuring excellent tightness and durability – even when the box is installed in a floor screed.
Welded construction
Choose a box for your needs!
PEFLEX PP boxes consist of welded modules, allowing a total of up to 16 box variants to be obtained. The welded construction of the boxes provides additional rigidity and ensures excellent tightness, which is lacking in foldable models installed by press fit or using gaskets. This is crucial, for example, when pouring concrete over them.

The quantity and diameter of connected ventilation ducts
PEFLEX PP plenum boxes are available in versions allowing for the installation of PEFLEX System ventilation ducts with external diameters of Ø50, Ø75, and Ø90 mm. The number of connected ducts should be determined by the airflow requirements, and any unused connection couplers can be sealed with original PEFLEX plugs.

Installation of boxes
PEFLEX PP plenum boxes are available in a floor-mount version for installation, among others, in the floor insulation layer, as well as in a ceiling-mount version for installation above a plasterboard structure. Thanks to the special design that allows for a low height of the box body, these boxes can be successfully installed in thin floors and small ceiling constructions without reducing the size of the room.

Socket and nipple boxes
All PEFLEX PP plenum boxes are available with a nipple spigot for duct extension, or a socket spigot for direct installation of an air diffuser in the plenum box. The socket variant is available in two spigot lengths – 40 mm (short-socket) and 300 mm (long-socket) – allowing the solution to be adapted to various floor slab thicknesses and ceiling constructions.
Short-socket box
- With a 40 mm spigot for direct installation of a 125 mm diameter ventilation valve
- When distributing the installation through plasterboards or if you aim for a slight ceiling lowering
- For the 2x75 and 3x75 box, the minimum ceiling lowering is only 100 mm, and for the 2x90 box, it's just 130 mm.
NEW!
Long-socket box
- With a 300 mm spigot for direct installation of 125 mm diameter air diffuser
- The spigot can be trimmed to any length, enabling installation in both low ceiling constructions and floor slabs up to 30 cm thick
- Constant internal diameter (125 mm) and external diameter (129 mm) across the entire spigot length ensure secure and airtight installation of the diffuser frame
Nipple box
- Allows installation of a extension to the plenum box spigot
- When you mount the floor box on the ceiling or mount the box under the ceiling, but the ceiling lowering is greater than 130 mm
- The standardized external diameter of the plenum box spigot 125 mm allows for the use of a dedicated PEFLEX extension or other ducts with a 125 mm diameter
ASSEMBLY of plenum boxes
floor installation
under the ceiling
under the roof structure
When installing the ventilation system on the floor slab, it is important to maintain the appropriate thickness of insulation in which it will be hidden. It is also necessary to prepare openings in the ceiling with a minimum diameter of 132 mm for the extensions of the floor-mounted nipple spigots of PEFLEX PP plenum boxes. The extensions should be installed flush with the ceiling, taking into account the thickness of the plaster to ensure they do not protrude.
When installing the ventilation system under the ceiling, it is necessary to account for the planned ceiling drop and select the appropriate PEFLEX PP plenum box accordingly. For minimal lowering, a short-socket box will work, and above 14 cm a nipple box with a properly trimmed extension flush with the plasterboard. Ensure the opening in the plasterboard is cut precisely to allow for a trouble-free installation of the diffuser frame.
The boxes can be mounted directly to a wooden structure. However, remember that the installation must be routed in the warm zone, underneath the ceiling insulation. If necessary, mount the ducts and boxes on the frames so that all the insulation is above them. This will prevent heat loss. Also avoid running the installation through an unheated attic.
